Hi there...

I'm Asaryu, and I'm from Sydney. I've been reading the comic for years and years...partly cos when Candi and Alex first broke up was when my then-boyfriend and I had just broken up and he started to sleep with/go out with my best friend before I'd even moved out. It struck a chord with me.

These days I'm much happier ^_^

I'm Jenny/Kitini, and I'm from Coventry*, England, and if anyone asks if I'd like a cup of tea, a crumpet or anything stereotypically associated with Brits, I will end them. I found the comic via a banner ad on DarkenComic.com. I stick around for the story and pretty pictures.

I like writing stories, though I never finish them, and I like drawing which you'd think would mean I'd be capable of doing a comic. You'd be right, until you learn that I procrastinate like hell. I'm also a little bit obsessive and have now checked this post about 5 times, even though each time, I've only added perhaps a single word, or rephrased bits so now I'm going to hit post and if I've messed up somehow regardless of my obsessive checking, please ignore it ._.;

*Technically, a small town just outside of Coventry. By "small", I mean you can walk the length of it and back in about half an hour if you dawdle like me.

'Ello!

I'm Kora/Loki. Right now, I live in North Carolina and am trying my best to work my life out after a terrible college experience. I started reading Candi about a year ago and I check everyday for a new comic up, since the storyline just has got me hooked. I tend to just be a voyeur when it comes to the discussions but I enjoy hearing everyone's opinions. As for hobbies, I draw, play world of warcraft, and write. I might start doing more physical training soon, but..... >_> I hope not.

Hmm. Okay. :-)

38-yr old Canadian computer geek, career janitor, and very much a cat person, although I like almost all of the dogs I've met. You'd be surprised how well those things go together, cleaning buildings being pretty much a solitary pursuit, and a brainless job which leaves plenty of time to think about other things [for example, shell scripts]. Cats, when they get comfortable and fall asleep in your lap, are a wonderful aid to concentration because they encourage you to sit still and focus for extended periods of time. Also very soothing, when a project just isn't going the way you wanted it to.

What, you'd disturb a sleeping cat? Well, maybe to use the bathroom, but otherwise not often.

That might seems like a pretty dismal, solitary way to live, and it was sometimes, until I started volunteering at the SPCA and joined a couple of computer clubs, one devoted to Linux users, the other to computation in general, although I still can't understand why Windows is so popular. Was a Mac user until about three years ago, still use it for some things, and only tried XP for a couple of months before giving up and installing Xubuntu.

Romantically I'm... confused, and probably always will be, so this comic is especially entertaining. Currently involved with a crazy Czech woman with a heart of gold, who keeps me on my toes.

Briefly considered `Will_Hunting' for a username, but I'm nowhere near *that* smart, and besides, it's too derivative.

Cheers,

Patrick.

I'm sidekick

I chose the name cause I always seem to end up "Kato"-ing myself IRL or not being the focal point of any real drama in my life. I THOUGHT IT WAS CLEVER
>_>

I get told I'm a funny guy a lot so I'm starting to believe

I get told I'm a good person to so I'm starting to believe that

I came across Candi one day when I was pretty much done with studying but couldn't go anywhere cause my car was down, and I was stuck in a place where it was raining hard and my jacket was miles away

I'm a soph in college

Hi, I'm Emmalyn, but most of my IRL friends call me Emma. :) I'm a college student living in Arizona, getting ready to graduate in May (but go on to grad school), and I've been reading Candi since 2005-ish. I haven't really posted in the new forums because every time I want to, someone has already said what I was going to say, so I keep being lazy and reading the responses to them instead of posting. :D

Anyway, if you'd like to know more, feel free to PM me. Otherwise, I look forward to discussing the comic with all of you!

Allow myself to introduce... myself... again.

My name is The D-Wrek and I admittedly lost track of the comic and stopped visiting the forum all at the same time. :(

But! I'm all caught up once again, and I'm glad. It's nice to have a comic to look forward to like I did and once again do with Candi. I used to follow so many back in the day and now I just read this one and one other. Anyway! I'll be seeing you guys around! :D

It occurred to me that I never got around to doing this. So... I'm doing it!

24 year old college student. 6th year. I'm... taking the slow route? Planning to go to grad school for library science. Usually refer to myself as a "geek" as I'm all about a bunch of sci-fi shows and books. I also follow/read a lot of comics (I prefer Marvel to DC). I'm something of a gamer chick when I have time.

Also a cat person and recently got an abused kitty. She was pregnant and lost all her babies, but we saved her, and she's doing really well. :) Named Polgara after a character in a David Eddings book.

Yay Candi! :)

Nothing wrong with the slow route. I'm almost 27 and just graduated last year. And my family adopted a kitty who had lost his vision when he had a bad reaction to being put under for surgery when he got neutered and he's regained his sight, so I'm even more glad we adopted him since there's really nothing wrong with him now and he seems to like us.

Hi all, I'm Jenny the english teacher/writer.

I've been reading the comic for a long time, I started when I was living in China and should have been lesson planning.I've lived in 3 different countries so far including my home country of England.

I read obsessively - I love fantasy and am a huge fan of the Discworld Series, but have a soft spot for Austen and Emily and Charlotte Bronte. Also I'm a massive comic book reading, D&D playing, film obsessing geek.

Hello all! Been reading a long time but never signed up to the forum before for some reason.

I'm Nina, I live in the south-west of England (i.e., the dead-end rural Vicar-of-Dibley farming part) and I'm a self-confessed geek. My main passion lies with reading and writing, which I think is common with lots of people around here and lots of parts of the interweb. I'm eighteen, a student, somewhat opinionated and love throwing in my own commentary.

:D
