An adventure towards the Grand Canyon

Has has anyone been to the Grand Canyon. My parents are taking me there in a couple of months. Is it worth it?

I hope it will be fun, but I would love to hear more opinions. From what it looks from their website http://www.grandcanyon-nationalpark.org/ it is an amazing place. I hope to get on one of the helicopter tours and on this thing called Skywalk. Has anyone done this?

If you read reviews, you probably will skip the Skywalk.
