I've got some of my colleagues interested in the comic (more or less from this strip. However, I haven't got round to tellling them about Menjou. I've been explaining the backstory as it becomes relevant.

I wouldn't worry about it? 
I live (alarmingly close, wasn't expecting too many UK readers never mind north eastern!) and I'm in a new job too! People will eventually accept what you are into. They can't really hold your interests against you
The girls who I work with thought they were geeky for liking the marvel films. Then they met me, RPGs and Warhammer...totally different level of geek
