I was curious if Katia's look was at all inspired by Ryouga or "Yoiko" from Ranma 1/2 with the fangs/hair, though maybe my memory is a little off but I think his hair was colored green on some of the covers.

A little bit yes! She was supposed to have a worse sense of direction too, but I dropped trait that really quickly.
