Anyone who thought they weren't going to end up in some kind of compromising/dating situation can pretty much guarantee that there are going to be situations ahead. Either they'll study together and Linda will flip out, because they're talking about "adult things", or the innocent gal will go to all-knowing Alex for more after-class info. One thing leads to another, and bam. Compromising. Positions.

Personally, I think Linda deserves this and way more. I sure hope Candi doesn't get her feelings hurt, though. Seriously, the new gal should know better. All girls school or not, you don't jump on someone's ex. A room mate for a year is way more important than a hot guy for an hour (then again, this is Alex. Maybe 45 minutes?).

Hey, almost everyone takes that class at UF because it's so good at knocking out your gen ed.


I think it gives 3 credits of two different type of gen ed and also 6000 words (outta 24,000) for the writing requirement.

Exactly Candi just said she had a long going relationship bomb, she didn't give names, so everyone jumping Katia about honing in on an "Ex" at least wait til she actually does. One she doesn't know Alex is Candi's ex as stated. Next up, technically she and Candi are not friends yet, at least beyond friendly aquintances and roommates. So at least in my eyes, she isn't hitting up any "friend no-no's" since she hasn't had time to develop the level of friendship with Candi (or anyone yet), that would warrant she should steer clear.

Now then, if Candi explains to her, or Linda appears and intro's herself, revealing Alex is taken to Katia but she persues anyway, then she's as bad as Linda in terms of poaching, dating naivete or not. Also if Katia and Candi get tight later on, then I would hope Katia would have the decency to put Alex on the "do not touch" list unless Candi herself said "I don't care, it won't hurt me but keep him away from me.".

Now if any of the plausible scenarios mentioned above or elsewhere in this thread happens, then we can launch the "Bad Katia BAD!" flame missiles.

Technically, there isn't a "Pre-Med" major. There are required courses that are needed to be taken to apply to med school, but you still have to pick an official major. Alex's is Anthropology. You could apply to Medical School as a Public Relations' major if you wanted to, if you took all the courses you needed. Most people end up picking majors in the sciences if they are planning to go to Med school because the requirements for both overlap.

I love the expression on Candi. She suddenly seems incredibly mature and above the situation. Compared to Katia, we can see how much she has grown as an individual and character. That said, I DO hope she tells Katia that Alex is her ex, and I hope that Katia respects that and keeps away. While they may not be friends, its nearly as bad to sleep with your room mates ex as it is your friend's ex. Nothing causes bigger and more damaging drama than pissing off your room mates.

However, if Katia does not respect that, or if Candi doesn't tell her (and for some reason, I don't think Candi will), then I think Linda deserves what she's about to get.

Wait, wait, wait! So Alex isn't even taking hard pre-med classes!? Here he was complaining about how hard his classes were, and how he has to do all this studying, and how its so much harder than art classes...and he's majoring in ANTHROPOLOGY?! Omg, what a drama queen he is! Please, I take anthropology classes for kicks. For fun when I want to get away from my actual major. They're hardly difficult, the studying is fun, and its not like you're laboring over a book all day. Geez, I thought he was doing some vicious science study, biology, mathematics, or the like. But anthropology?? Not that its not a viable and great major (I love it and minor in it), but as far as the difficulty scale goes, it most certainly is not at the top. Someone really needs to point and laugh at him next time he says his classes are "so hard." No, really. It should happen.
