Yeah. Looks as if the counselor could be pulling a fast one. Sick 'em Fitz!

With this much set-up for this counselor and her quirks, I have a feeling she's going to be a somewhat significant character. Hmm. Or maybe somebody we've met before?

If the counselor's name ends up being Beryl, I'm gonna laugh.

Yet another reason to cite why Fitz is one of my favorite characters!

Yeah, I've got to hand it to Fitz. For all his flaws, when push comes to shove and his students' academic future is on the line he seems willing (however grudgingly) to go to bat and do above and beyond what is required of him.

Yep. This isn't his job, but he's going to do what he can to make sure it happens. And apparently, in the earlier incident he didn't just stop with giving the students a quick summary of what they should have gotten from the advisor, he got some other people (department officials?) involved to have a chat with her.

(Which means they actually managed to get hold of her. Apparently more than any of the students have achieved.)

Fitz is the man. Though I wonder if it would help the two any that he pulled her back to her workstation. My first impression of her is kind of in shambles already, as far as her professionalism goes, so I wouldn't be surprised if she was more or less useless in her function.

Sounds like this isn't the first time this counselor has pulled this crap. Sounds like someone needs to be reported and fired, like yesterday.

Oh, this is NOT the first time that the issue has come up WITH FITZ. Specifically...

And, judging from the more-current comics, he TRIED to do something about it.

Well, at least now we know it's the counselor that's into astrology.

But he just said in Monday's comic that "We talked to her about this..."

I bet if she isn't in her office, he's going to do something to initiate (or add to) some sort of a formal disciplinary process.
