I can only assume that the Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus cameo are there to act as lampshades to the fact that Candi having a thing on Chris is reminiscent of the old Sailor Moon anime, where Serena/Usagi and Darian/Mamoru had a similarly antagonistic relationship. "Oh I hate this guy-oh wait I actually like him" sort of thing.

OR it could be a complete coincidence.

Speaking of Sailor Moon cameos...

I've been waiting for years for someone to notice this about Chris' hairstyle... but no one has...

(Obviously this doesn't reflect anything about his character traits. I just can't help but throw in Sailor Moon stuff into things.)
