I mean, I know he doesn't like the guy, but is he on his mind so often that simply hearing about an "annoying person" makes him instantly think of him? Alex and Chris have barely interacted in the comic, and I just can't imagine Chris being at the forefront of his mind. But, hey, coincidences happen, I guess?
Also, maybe I'm misreading the text messages, but what is Candi saying "No, thank(s)" too? He just asked if she finished her paper. The best I can presume is that it actually says "No thanks to you", but in that case there shouldn't be a comma after 'no'. /nitpicky

Alex hates Chris' intestinal tract and everything it nourishes. Chris is smart, athletic, attractive, and charismatic, attributes that Alick is notably lacking. Jealousy is an ugly thing, and so is that stunted thing Alick calls his soul, when he bothers. Kinda wish he knew that our favorite pinkie is off to meet up with his bete noir, but that might cause an ugly scene, something Candi doesn't need.UnstoppableTaboo wrote:I find it kind of weird that Alex would jump to Chris right away. Aaaand Candi's offered to "catch up again later". Sigh.Candi, Alex doesn't deserve your time. Spend it on better things, better people.

The ball to the head incident is what Candi assumes is the reason for Alex hating Chris and Alex's response at the time clearly showed it bothered him and still does. But I suspect that it's not JUST that incident. If Chris was regularly being playfully obnoxious with Candi during their high school years (he did indicate when he threw her over his shoulder to carry her to class that he'd been doing that kind of thing in high school) then I could easily see Alex interpreting it (perhaps correctly) that it was flirting on the sly. If he was already dating her that could be plenty reason to dislike Chris.

I do most of my posting from a tablet now and it's amazing how hard it is not to mess up. It's worse on my phone, which is why I actually have the autocorrect turned on there.
